Review on πŸ”Œ ECCPP Electric Fuel Pump Module Assembly with Sending Unit Replacement for Hyundai Accent and Kia RIO RIO5 2006-2011 L4 1.6L E8730M by Matt Tbone

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The same pump as in the big store.

I had to replace this pump with a 2007 Hyundai Accent in 2014 and paid $250 for it. Checked online at a major parts store and they had two fuel pumps for $275 and $335. I was like what the heck let's check out the Revain and found this pump for $49.99 and thought let's give it a try. When I took the old pump out and tested on the new pump all I mean was the same, all the wiring that sends the block/float. Plugged in and it works great and quiet. Thanks for saving me some $$$. Had to add this after installing the pump got code po457 missing gas cap. I thought about what was going on and checked a few things and then pulled the pump again and found the problem. The seal was pushed out, long story short I used a caliper to measure the pump body and it is 0.15" smaller than the original pump and the seal was slightly larger than the seal on the original pump. Well I used an old shim as it was a bit smaller and now it doesn't give me a po457 code. You may have to use an old gasket. Unfortunately had to deduct 1 star because of the seal.
