Review on πŸš— XO Vision Power Window Kit for 2-Door Windows by David Robinson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent product in this price range.

Installation was easier than expected. I suggest a spring loaded center punch and a 1/8th bit for the screws holding the motor and drivetrain. To wire, simply hold the plastic piece close to what it's connected to, then match the colors of the wires. The black one with the loop is grounded, and then connect the red main power supply with an extra fuse to the key in the circuit. The work is as good as the OEM in the S10 case. The passenger window runs a little slower due to the voltage drop. Installing the derailleur was fairly easy using the fairing as a template and cutting it out with a dremel and cutting wheel. The parts covering the winding hole worked well and were easy to install. I used a rat tail file to enlarge the hole. The engines are about half the size of the original engines from the 90's. I would not say that they are of poor quality, maybe technology has improved. Time. They weren't expensive or too difficult to install, I just hate removing door panels. 4 stars because of the unknown durability of the item, but overall I'm very satisfied. The total installation time for me was about 3 hours. Keep in mind that I'm pretty anal when it comes to clean installs and have been doing so for over 15 years. Please note that I paid full price for this and did not receive any discount or review gift. I've just seen a lot of reviews and wanted to give an honest review from someone with experience in the automotive industry.
