Purchased this for planting my Spring bulb season - this thing kicked ass and I got thru several hundred bulbs in a fraction of the time. Hole sizes were perfect for Tulips, Lilies and a few others - not sure I would use for larger tubors but it really did a great job and saved me so much time from the traditional bulb planter devices- I have especially clay soil and with this auger dug extra deep and replaced the dirt with good soil and covered well - so the garden is already taking off - wont buy again - because I wont need to - this thing is very well made and super sturdy.
