Installation did not go perfect. Before you judge me on my ability, I was a mechanic and have serviced many battery's. This is the first time using THIS product. Tightening the terminal to the post BROKE off easily at the split end on one side the size of the nut and needing a replacement because it's CAST metal. What type of metal is not stated in the info but it is made in China! Very similar to pot metal? Sure, lead alloy terminals are cast but way softer than this. Be sure to use a battery brush to clean but also for bite/grip to the smooth new terminal. I used xtra increments of tightening the nut and checking for looseness on the other one with success.Conclusion, while I like the ridged terminal idea and the solid ring terminal connections, the brittleness of the cast and any repeated attempts to R&R them later during a service makes me pause and reconsider other methods that are proven with known durability!
