This is my second Bracketron purchase, the first was from Radio Shack. I'm sorry poor old Radio Shack has gone down badly for not buying my replacement there, but is it really $35 at Radio Shack, only $12 at Revain? I'm saving for retirement, folks, give me a break. Anyway, I like this device because it runs on my vent instead of hanging down or standing on a suction cup. I know from bitter experience how quickly these suckers lose their suction power; I won't risk breaking a $200 smartphone. I plug my phone into the power cord, plug it in for audio and while using the GPS I listen to podcasts or music. With a bit of fiddling, it's at the right angle for quick viewing while driving. With voice commands, I can make calls without taking my hands off the steering wheel. Waze guides me through traffic. Rick Steves entertains me. I love my bracketron.
