bought 2 sets; 1 pair of ramps for rollable objects, 1 pair for loading (extendable) boxes. The ends of the ramp are made of very high quality and durable. My 2x8 boards were slightly thinner than the ramp ends, but that's not a product issue. Also, my 2x8s were too thick to fit the edge of the ramp ends, so I notched the ends of the boards (and cut the top of the board at an angle) to fit the ends of the ramp. I used 1x3 boards on the sides of the "frosted" ramp pair as wheel guards - don't want heavy stuff rolling off the ramps! All in all a good product that will save you money if you need car ramps.
