so far they have turned out to be a good set - i have never had a set compared to that. I read a lot and researched forstner bits and found a porter set and thought why not, you have to start somewhere. They are sharp and cut 2x4 like butter. I was impressed that there were no cracks or damage. The case is good and the bits are easy to remove and put back. The box is marked where each bit is with the inch of that bit and each bit is also marked with . My guess is that the inch markings will wear away from the stock over time. You must do the customs identification on a different colored card - the card is black and the customs numbers are also black so it is very difficult to read. I think once the box is formed and stamped it's more work to give the numbers a different color.
