Used when replacing the water pump for the thermostat housing. The OEM paper gasket was thinner than the paper compared to the Fel-Pro 3075 gasket. Using the OEM as a template, traced the outline of the gasket, cut out the center first and made an exact copy only twice the thickness. I have the added convenience of reinforced spacers in my cooling system for very little money. It's worth the extra effort and expense.
