DeWalt OEM vs Jetx belt comparison for DW-735

After reading many reviews on this product, both positive and negative, I decided to buy a DeWalt OEM belt and this one Pair of parts to order. belt for comparison. I got the OEM belt from Replace Parts.com for about $45. The OEM belt is manufactured by Taiwan Synchronous Belt Co., part number 171-JM-9. There is no item number on Jtex tapes. After receiving both belts, I pulled out the locksmith's tools to take some measurements. Both straps are 21.6mm wide throughout and both straps are 4.2mm wide between the top edge of the ribs and the top edge of the strap. Both straps have 9 ridges and 8 valleys. The OEM belt weighs 32 grams while the Jetx belt weighs 36 grams. The OEM belt is made of molded polyurethane, while the Jetx brand material is unknown. Both harnesses have built-in fiberglass reinforcement straps. Both bands have about the same flexibility. Although I don't have tools to accurately measure the circumference of the straps, when stacked on top of each other they appear to be the same. The rib spacing of the Jetx adapts to the belt pulleys of the machine without play. I haven't run the Jetx on a machine yet, so I can't comment on the wear or durability of the product, but the Jetx belts are clearly made to a standard size specification that matches the DeWalt OEM belt. We hope some of the above data will help clarify some compatibility issues with the DW-735.
