Very portable, can charge laptop via PD, can't be used as a TB3 dock, works very well overall

For some reason I bought this product to replace a portable monitor I previously had. The monitor I had before worked fine, but this one was better in the following ways: 1. Portability - smaller, fits in a backpack and doesn't really need a stand as I can use a stylus.2. Smoothness - My previous monitor had huge bezels and didn't look nearly as good as this one.3. Performance - maybe it's just me, but this display seems to have less latency than the previous one I've had, to the point where there's no noticeable difference from the laptop display. 4. Functionality - I don't need HDMI + DisplayPort connectors, but I see other people find them useful. I'm concerned about the PD (power) connector on the display and the fact that the display has power through it. This was a big issue for me with my previous display as I connected it via USB-C to a laptop that only had a USB-C port so I didn't have a port to charge. Now I can charge it from the display. Cons: 1. This was the most frustrating part for me - confusing marketing/documentation. I wanted to know if the PD port would power a laptop and despite all my research and questions and confusing answers I couldn't figure it out. I just had to buy a display and try it out. Also, you don't really need Thunderbolt 3 for this monitor to work, it looks like it only uses USB3 + DP alternate mode (you need a USB-C port for DP alternate mode). This means it should work on laptops without Thunderbolt 3 but with USB-C ports. You also don't need the more expensive tb3 cables if you're looking for a better cable than the ones supplied. The fact that the box also includes a card giving a free gift for 5-star reviews is also very sketchy and doesn't really make me trust the Amazon reviews - too bad as the monitor is actually pretty good. 2. The speakers are pretty crappy - they're even worse than laptop speakers, I don't see myself using them.3. The backplate doesn't connect well to the rest of the case and you can see some flex and play around the edges - I'll have to think of something to attach it. Actually, that's not a disadvantage. , but more from the wish list: I travel quite a bit for work, and that's the main reason I bought this display - I wanted something that was easy to take on a plane, yet powerful enough to do some serious work afford (I code for a living). When I arrive at my destination I usually have a screen to use. It would be really nice if that portable screen could serve as a central docking station for everything back then - it already doubles as a USB docking station (although from what I've read it looks USB 2.0, which isn't great, but I don't have that part tested), but it would be great if the Displayport + HDMI ports could also work as outputs when using a Type-C connection. The ports are already there, you probably don't need much additional hardware to make it work with MST (Multi Stream Transport), and it would be a killer feature, especially at this price point, as it can effectively replace some docks. that costs as much or more than that screen alone. Overall it's a pretty cool screen - bright, good colors, IPS, slim, super portable, I really like the pinhole and the fact that I can charge my laptop is great and really suits my use case. UPERFECT really excelled here - there are plenty of other similarly priced monitors that either lack a PD connector or a pinhole, this one has it all. It's just missing the killer feature of turning it into a full-featured docking station by having the mini-DP + HDMI inputs also work as outputs when using Type-C.
