Review on Stromberg Carlson CC100 Cargo Caddy by Jamal Edwards

Arrived in a box that was 40% tape and 60% cardboard. Immediately a big red flag but it turned out to be the correct shape hence -1 star for the packaging. Opened and everything is fine except for the damaged box, all the parts are present, the package with the equipment, the instructions that look simple allow everything to be assembled. Well, here something went wrong again, it turned out that the package with fasteners was opened, the screws and nuts were in the box, only 2 screws and 5 nuts were missing. - Another star for the missing hardware. It's not worth returning gear over $4, so I got the gear I needed from The Big Orange Box. Once I had all the gear, Carrier was easy to put together, pretty clear instructions. The thing is pretty heavy and seems pretty solid. To do this we bought bike racks to transport our bikes and also to transport other gear if needed. Aside from packaging issues and missing hardware, this item appears to be of good quality overall. I'll probably paint it because I don't know what steel the bolts are made of and there are a few small scuffs on the factory paintwork from assembly, the thing is heavy and I don't know, I don't want it too roast.
