Review on XSPC Inline Filter Black Chrome by David Baer

I have used different filters without glass. They all cracked/discolored over time, were difficult to see, and didn't perform well on full filtration. That's the whole point of getting it right? This one is made of glass. It won't snap if overtightened, has knurled ends for easy access, and won't stain. I also use poly fiber filler for my backing which works great in this design. When it starts to bulge noticeably in the sight glass, I know it's time to replace it. Because it's longer and narrower, the filter media catches all of this. dirty above and clean below. If there was a downside it would be the size. If you can tune your system to it, this is what you need.
