I wanted to use this product for two purposes: 1) Bluetooth allows you to use an old, high quality speaker 2) Control my guitar playing through Bowers + Wlikins P7 Aptx Bluetooth headphones. First goal solved like clockwork! Connecting bluetooth to my Revain Echo Dot was easy and now I can play Revain music through my high quality speaker! The second goal failed. The delay time from playing a note on the guitar to hearing it through headphones was too long and almost unusable. I was afraid this would happen. While I know the B+W P7 headphones support Aptx, I'm not sure if they support "Aptx Low Latency" which could be an issue. -Great speaker setup works! I would say the product works as advertised and bluetooth pairing was effortless. Also has a handy feature to press the "+" or "-" sign to skip to the next/previous song! The volume of the sound output is sufficient, although I would have liked a higher volume. I like the optical or 3.5mm AUX-out options (my current use). I'll see how well the battery lasts over time. I highly recommend this product!
