Review on Flexzilla ColorConnex Lightweight ZillaGreen Industrial Hose by Adan Hudson

I bought a 50 foot 1/4 inch hose to use with my portable compressor use. I then cut it to 15" and 35" and used Flexzilla replacement end pieces. It worked great. The hose is easily cut with a razor and the spare ends fit perfectly. The interchangeable ends were their pro line so this gave me a great opportunity to compare the pro fitting to the standard fitting. The fittings are made of aluminum on both. I think the only thing that's really different is the strain relief. The Pro is coiled and made of very flexible plastic, while the standard is made of hard rubber. The coiled strain relief of the Pro leagues is better than the regular one. However, both do an excellent job of removing the stress point from the metal fitting, so I think either will work well and won't give you a problem. For everyday use I would prefer a pro as the spool allows for slight sag and effectively extends your air tool a flexible 3 inches instead of a solid 5 inches like the standard does. I also have a 6 year old coil. Flexible hose 3/8 inch. The 1/4 inch thickness is obviously much less, but both have the same level of flexibility. You can make a very small radius and it still won't twist. Works well in all weather conditions. a bit rubbery so it can get stuck when you try to drag it around the corner of a wall. I really love flexzilla hoses and will never go back to those cheap plastic hoses.
