Although I have owned this product for over 6 months, I have only used it a few times. I kept it on a gas stove over medium heat for about 5 minutes and put in some ribs to brown before adding the oven liquid and exploding the enamel coating all over the meat. I didn't use excessive heat to achieve this. I have had other similar products in the past and have not had this problem. This is a cheap version of this cookware. Pay a little more for something that will last. Now it's too long so I can't return the item and it's unusable.
