No more probes! the best pH meters

As a home grower using a covered tent and an AutoPot hydroponic system that keeps the pH in the appropriate range, you don't have to guess the probe readings. It has made my life so much easier and my plants show it. I check the water in my tank daily. Have a gallon or two of distilled water on hand to flush and calibrate the instrument. Distilled water is only 99 cents, so it doesn't really matter. At first I was concerned that calibration would be difficult, but it isn't. I have a sensitive digital thermometer and have had no trouble making sure the distilled water is the right temperature. This is the only thing you need to pay attention to. I'm not sure what happens if you calibrate outside of the specified temperature range, but really, if you're in the growth business and put a lot of effort and money into making sure everything is perfect and in range, it's not a problem. Kind of like a chemical techno computer, although I like that kind of thing. While they don't read chlorine (those dual chlorine and pH meters are astronomically expensive), it's worth checking a hot tub, too. The price of this counter is reasonable. No complaints. Happy plants, happy family.
