▶ 【Notification】Calibrate once per week if you often test solution of PH 10, or once per half month for neutral solutions. The 250ml calibration solution for multiple uses (10ml or so each time). Then rinse the electrode with pure water before next test. Rinse and rest 3-5 min before conversing from strong acid to strong alkaline and vice versa. ▶ 【Automatic Calibration】 We make your job faster and easier than ever with this convenient PH tester! With the 3-point calibration procedures, your PH testing devicewill automatically identify the calibration solutions to give you your reading in a snap. ▶ 【Automatic Temperature Compensation】 Temperature can affect reading levels, our PH meter's automatic temperature compensation can ensure that you're getting the best possible reading. Customer service 10, product quality 0

The price and description make this PH meter an attractive choice. I have used laboratory equipment for most of my professional life. I often calibrate, store and clean things properly. This device will fail almost anytime for unknown reasons. This is my second in less than 1 year. Customer service is excellent. This tool is complete crap.

Mainly suitable for analyzers

Small granules formed on the probe when opened. It was found to be dried storage solution which must have seeped through the cap and included o-rings. After calibration, the pH value appears to be displayed accurately after a few seconds. The calibration packages provided are helpful. Don't forget to also buy a 3M KCL storage solution. Vertical storage prevents leakage when opening the package. The block does what it's supposed to, with a few minor annoyances.

  • Great for me

Several readings of the same sample differ by an integer PH point.

This PH meter reads PH calibration buffer samples perfectly. The calibration went well, but failed to replicate readings from standard tap water. I used the same cup of tap water to get several readings and they started at 7.5. Then I took another and it showed 8.3 and a third and it showed 7.19. I left the probe in the water and it went up to 8.5. I still had the calibration patterns so I tried them again and they were all about where they should be. If you use this to read your PH you may run

If it's not hard, then it's not worth it! Good product!

2 I don't like it. Inserting and working with batteries is not an easy task (it just sounds like there is no such thing as a 'happy place'), other than once calibrated the product is excellent and very accurate. 2. dislikes the temperature measurement function only in Fahrenheit Celsius. I use it daily to measure the pH in my baby's room to give different plants the water they need. I love it and would highly recommend it to any grower who wants the best possible results. Without them, it's a…

Good for home gardeners

I have found the Dr 838 dispenser useful for mixing salt based nutrients for my indoor garden. Tested on a flow meter twice the price, it has held up well to calibration over the past 30 days. The kit comes with your first two calibrations, you will need distilled water. The device runs on 2 AAA batteries (included) and is easy to calibrate (I think I saw the video 🤔) for maximum lifespan, use the 4.0 solution on the sponge in the cap and hold the sensor bulb clean. This device does not…

No more probes! The best of chemical analysis tools

As a home grower using an indoor tent and an AutoPot hydroponic system that keeps the pH in the right range, you don't have to guess the probe readings. It has made my life so much easier and my plants show it. I check the water in my tank daily. Have a gallon or two of distilled water on hand to flush and calibrate the unit. Distilled water is only 99 cents, so it doesn't really matter. At first I was concerned that calibration would be difficult, but it isn't. I have a sensitive digital…

Fairly good, best in tests, measurements and controls

I bought this to measure the acidity of various drinks to determine what to avoid for my LPR. The meter needs to be calibrated, but everything is included except distilled water, and the instructions are pretty easy to follow once you read them a few times. The only thing that let me down was the battery setting. The batteries fall vertically into the end of the meter, but the "+" and "-" symbols on the holes do not indicate whether these symbols refer to the bottom or top of the batteries…

Check the sensors below next to the bulb.

This worked until this month (3 months later) when I noticed that one of the bottom sensors was almost fully seated. Now I have OCD with my grow gear. The lid was put on every day and placed in a box. Everyone. Lonely. Time. I was going to water my plants today and the meter just fell. And fell no matter what I did. The pH was only 0. After making sure no water got in, I wiped it off with a paper towel and carefully opened it up only to see rust forming on the circuit board. The seals were…
