too wide to use two earplugs side by side

Pack of two earplugs at an attractive price. But one device lost its ground pin after just a few days of use. (It can be used without a ground pin.) Almost all outlets we've found in Australia are two outlets placed horizontally next to each other. Two Bestten plugs cannot be safely inserted into two adjacent sockets because the Bestten plug is too wide. The part of the Bestten plug where the US plug is inserted is rounded. It's comfortable to grip, but too wide to safely use two forks side-by-side.
