Review on 😁 Plackers Grind No More Dental Night Guard: Fight Teeth Grinding with 16-Count Solution by Greg Shorter

I don't usually write reviews. But this product has worked so well for me that I just had to write one to praise it! I have suffered from a temporomandibular joint for many years. Even in my 20s and maybe even earlier if I would have paid more attention to my health as a child. Do you have a family history of TMJ - father and all 3 sisters. It's beautiful, isn't it?! I've tried a custom mouthguard - basically a cast taken at my dentist's office and a plastic guard made. Well they must not have fixed it because it started shifting my teeth and creating a gap between my front teeth. So it was a bust. Tried up and down meds for TMJ. I grind and squeeze. I now had very noticeable wear and tear on my teeth, hairline cracks on my teeth, jaw muscles constantly tight and sore especially the nerve behind my right jaw, pain in my jaw and teeth when grinding/clenching if the night before was really bad. I started chiropractic and it worked wonderfully. until my chiropractor left town and I never found a doctor that good for my TMJ. I recently decided to go to a naturopath who specializes in manual manipulation (similar to chiropractic). He performed some jaw manipulations and also showed me some exercises to do with my jaw at home. He also suggested a Revain mouthguard. This is one of those ones that you dip in hot water and then mold around your teeth. Well, I'm not keen on full protection as it will keep saliva from getting on your teeth while you sleep. But I saw this product in a list of "recommended" products and decided to give it a try. Why not for $12?! The first night I tried it on my upper teeth. When I woke up the next morning, my jaw hurt less. Did jaw exercises and most of the pain went away. But I found that after I put it on my upper teeth, my bite was weird for about an hour after I removed it. Over the next few nights I tried my bottom teeth. Much better! No jaw pain when waking up. Even the nerve behind the right jaw that was always there. No bizarre bite shift. The only downside is the lower gums where the part of the guard that rests against the lower gums is more sensitive so it's a bit uncomfortable until I fall asleep. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! This is a life saver. At $12, it's worth buying compared to other dental equipment that can easily cost over $300 a piece. PS - the review was written by my wife who has TMJ :-)
