Doesn't fix throttle lag, RF shielding issues

I have a 2017 Titan XD Diesel. I bought this product based on the widespread belief that it will eliminate the throttle lag common on these trucks. The hard truth is, it isn't. In fact, it doesn't even help, not even a little. It makes the truck livelier because it basically just boosts the signal from the gas pedal, but the effect is actually indistinguishable from pushing the pedal harder. I can get the truck to behave the same way without Pedal Commander just by using my lead foot. But the throttle lag is still there and just as bad as it was without the Pedal Commander. Another very bad thing to watch out for if you have a Titan Diesel is that this device amplifies the pedal signal so much that the truck's torque control system keeps accelerating the vehicle even after you take your foot off the accelerator. The TMS in the Titan limits the rate of change of engine torque (because the gearbox used in that truck isn't that good) so the torque slowly drops off as you go from 100% fuel to 0%. If you're running on lead (which this device basically does - it translates your input into a lead-on signal) you may have problems with uncontrolled acceleration. However, if you have a TItan Diesel, don't waste your money on this article. It won't help. UPDATE: I ended up returning this item. One day I noticed that the truck accelerated slightly for no apparent reason. After a while I realized that whenever my APRS beacon sent a signal, the rudder pedal accelerated the truck. This type of HF immunity issue is very unsafe, so I brought it back while I still could.
