My daughter wanted me to fix her Nintendo Switch Lite. I called Nintendo and they charged half the cost of the console to fix the problem. So I decided to fix the Switch myself. The iFixit guide gave me a list of the tools I would need. This set has everything except the spudger. But I managed to do without repairs. All bits are clearly marked both on the box and on the bits themselves. The pry tool was perfect for prying the back of the Switch Lite off the console and working with those pesky ZIF connectors. I liked that the tips were magnetic. This helped me a lot as I was able to position the tiny screws in the right places when assembling the console. Thanks to this tool kit, my effort to fix my daughter's switch was a success! Another feature that stood me in good stead this week is that the screwdriver can pop out about 3 inches. I had to shoot a part of a crib. My regular screwdriver was too thick to reach into the hole and turn the screw. I used the extendability of this screwdriver and the included Philips #2 bit to get at this screw. For heavy things like beds I'd probably go with my woodworking tools, but I'm glad it saved me in an emergency! If I could give six stars I would. It's excellent and has made me the gadget repair hero in my family.
