Sorry but I cannot recommend these caps due to a design error. They sure look solid and are aluminum rather than plastic, but the overall thread length is just too long. If you try to thread them onto a regular or pressure-controlled tire valve, you will hit the end of the tire valve thread before the rubber seal in the valve cap can close. In this case, the valve cap will "catch” on the end of the tire valve thread and will be difficult to remove. Unless you can shorten them by about 1/8 inch (like on a lathe), this design flaw makes them useless and they certainly don't provide an airtight seal. If you decide to use them, follow the directions on the packaging to apply some lube before attaching them. This will prevent the aluminum threads from sticking to the tire stud threads.
