I'm glad my kids have bikes with quick releases. This makes family travel a lot easier than fiddling with wrenches at both ends! I would give this 4.5 stars. Not sure if they are very similar to other quick release conversion kits. These axles were the perfect length and the quick release cams are still great. Installation was agonizing and I had to use Trek cones and nuts instead of the ones that came with this kit as the ones in this product were too wide and took up all of the axle space. I got it working, but it would be easier if the kit included different cones and nuts. On the other hand, the thread size and pitch were perfect for the Trek parts! YMMV but it works great for me! Swap the nuts for easier installation and you have a 5 star system.
