Review on Toshiba SD-V391 Progressive Scan Silver DVD-VCR Combo for Enhanced Online Visibility by Nick Kirschenmann

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great DVD/VCR combo

This unit is easy to set up and use. Good guarantee, it looks good and has easy connections. Easy to connect for use with an inexpensive TV like my living room TV with only one cable jack on the back. Antenna input (cable) and TV output. (it has S-Video and other ins and outs if you need them) It works like a dream with a fully functional remote control. Play and watch DVDs, press the one-touch record button and burn your personal DVDs to your VCR. (I haven't tried renting it but I'm sure most of them are copy protected anyway) So easy to use with great picture and sound quality. It also plays DVD-R and DVD+R. I haven't tried discs, but I won't be using this unit for that either. You can never go wrong with money. Now if it lasts as long and is as reliable as the Toshiba TV I have in my media room I will be very lucky. Don't be afraid of this unit. That's great!

Pros
  • VCR with 19 micron heads for clear EP recording, auto clock setting, auto head cleaning and commercial skipping
Cons
  • Operating speed
