Fitted to the car for the first time, the stitching was torn. (see image). The shadow is a bit harsh and awkward to use, but it worked great in the weather we've just had. Ice, then snow and ice again for about 3 days. I walked out expecting to scrape under the awning and found my windshield perfectly clean. Not a grain of ice, but thick ice broke out of the shadows with relative ease. The rest of my car was almost 1/4 inch covered in ice. It's good in this subject. Now for the bad. As I said, it ripped at the seam the first time I put it on, the elastic stuck to my car (every part) and was completely stretched, so it's now useless as an elastic. Inconvenient when you try to fold it and put it back in the car. . Forget the bag. You will never get a wet shadow in it. Although it broke, I'm glad I have it. It would take me over an hour just to de-ice my windshield. I scratched the rest of the windows and I was thinking how to buy more of these for the rest of the windows, it's a lot cheaper than building a garage lol.
