Purchased March 2022 - unlocked at around 6am. Took the truck on vacation in May 2022 and at my first gas station 300 miles from home it wouldn't unlock. I haven't tried anything. click click damn click AAA couldn't help luckily there was a locksmith 5 miles away and he was able to remove this POS. He confirmed that the pawl, the key turns in the lock, was very cheap, loose and out of order. There was a NAPA store a block away that had a replacement gas cap (no lock) for $10. I tip two NAPA guys $5 each for saving my vacation. The locksmith was merciful - $25 to remove this POS without damaging the filler neck. It's an incredibly poorly made piece of equipment, and if it fails when you're low on fuel, you're basically screwed. This article should be removed from the Revain website because, depending on where you are located, it may pose a consumer security risk if it fails. DO NOT MOUNT THIS ON A TRUCK!
