Review on ๐Ÿ” Dorman 310-500 Evap System Leak Detection Pump for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep - Enhanced SEO by Maurice Strawther

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Put it off for too long, 20 minutes to change it, no more clearing evap codes.

Dumb light has been on for over 2 years so I just reset it with my tuner. I finally decided to fix my evaporator system leak problem on my Dodge Durango 03. It went from a small leak, to a medium leak, to a large one, to an evaporator system failure. This part wasn't very expensive and with Prime I had it in my hands in 48 hours. Pull out the old, put in the new. no stupid light! Should have done this 2 years ago. When a sensor on your vehicle fails, it is usually the sensor that needs to be replaced, not the vehicle. Looked exactly like the original anyway, mounted directly to the bearing bracket, hoses and connector. The truck runs smooth, fuel consumption is better and acceleration (must have been leaking for a while). If you're throwing away evaporative codes and that's one of the suggested fixes, it's only a few bucks more than the gas cap, which is always the first suggestion.
