I like that you can create your own templates, then use them across all of our clinics - very handy! No other system has allowed us this level flexibility within one program without having multiple programs/apps open at once etc.- it's nice not being in more than 1 place!! It would be great if they had an option where we could have custom fields added which are used by others as well when searching so those looking also come up with results- but otherwise no complaints here (at least yet). We've been working hard over several months now getting ready for transition into Clinic Next from the old clinic manager database product called eClinicalWorks - there is SO MUCH DATA lost upon conversion between products due to differences and lack of syncing/transferring information. This new tool seems better about helping us keep track of who needs info updated or what changes need made during transitions such as vacations coming back after vacationing overseas vs just going out sick while off duty. The benefits seem worth learning how best utilize these features before committing too much time & money to set everything up since not everyone will want every function available right away. Keep using until familiarizing yourself wth functions offered first -- saves headaches later. Easier tracking of staff schedules /absences/vacations It is easy to use, has many features that are helpful when it comes time to enter information into our EMR system (EHR). The interface of this program can be difficult at times if you have not used other similar programs in the past or don't know how they work. This helps with all aspects of clinical documentation including billing/coding as well as charting which makes my job easier!
