Wow, what a strong gate. I only bought it to keep my dogs off the lobby but it's the strongest gate I've ever had and I would definitely trust it to get to the top when my kid was little. A nuance. The color is darker than expected, not black but more of a brown. So they don't match my other goals, but they are such excellent goals that I'm fine. Also, he replaced the white one that really didn't fit! Another plus, the self-closing and locking feature really works. I didn't expect it, but it is! I have purchased wall protection mugs advertised as Product +. They should help protect my walls as these gates need to be very tight to work. I'll say they're a lot bigger than I expected and they're white (!) so they don't look very pretty, but they're probably worth saving my walls. Again, I use these gates for dogs, but I highly recommend them for children as well.
