Happy buyer at Asian Knives

I love kitchen gadgets. Although the knife is less of a gadget and more of a tool. This knife is presented in a beautiful case. The layers are visible and fascinating. Okay, enough about beauty. The weight is perfect, carrots, potatoes and celery can be cut with very little effort. It was like the weight of the knife was doing all the work and I was the driver. Oh, and a very thin piece of skin from my index finger. But there was no blood. The wafer-thin raw chicken was, as the saying goes, "like a hot knife through warm butter." I put it in the freezer for 20 minutes to give it some stability and was able to fillet the boneless breast. I'll heed the warning so the knife blade doesn't touch the bone. Expensive. Perfect balance. User friendliness. Pretty.
