Review on 🖨️ Gizmo Dorks Polycarbonate Filament: High-Quality Additive Manufacturing Products for 3D Printing Supplies by Sean Powers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent value for money for PC filament, high temperature installation and case required.

Excellent Polycarbonate Filament! FYI, it can be a bare PC or very close to it, it will definitely warp if you don't set it up properly. At first it seemed that those who gave this thread negative reviews were right about the deformation and separation of the layers. But after a few days of tweaking the settings and finding that I had to stick to the table for this, I finally got it to print strong and beautifully, like the Polymaker PC Max I did 4 rolls with. I'm glad the PC Max sold out because I would never have tried that PC brand and I'm probably picking the PC thread now. Printed at 285°C/130°C on a creative printer. The key to minimizing/reducing warping is a body with a high bed temperature >=130°C and a layer adhesive. attached, with adhesive for printing. The case temperature at nozzle level stabilizes at around 46 degrees Celsius and my prints no longer warp.

Pros
  • Print Temperature: 255°C - 300°C depending on part and printer type
Cons
