I ordered a 1 gallon single IPA kit. Quality ingredients and a simple process most beginners can handle - if you've taken 101 courses, read John Palmer's book, brewed a beer with a friend, or watched a few YouTube videos, you should be able to handle it. The beer had a nice malty medium body and smooth hops with no fuss or flash - a good introduction to the base flavor of Cascade which I and some friends liked. Pros: Comes with sanitizer. Cons: no sugar filling to fill and no detailed instructions. The 12-step online guide is meant to be easy to use, but it's actually TOO easy - you'll need to find something more detailed to ensure you don't make any mistakes in the preparation or fermentation process. I would recommend they develop an online guide with pictures or videos like some of the competing brands and provide additional information about the beer on the sheet (all the ingredients including grains and spices, estimated density, ABV, IBU etc.). for those in the finer details.
