I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

I plugged it into my MacBook, plugged in an Ethernet cable, and everything immediately works without drivers, settings, and other manipulations. MacBook Air M1, MacOS 11.4

Pros

Inexpensive. Compact and lightweight. It is convenient to carry in a backpack (the tail folds up and hides inside). Almost does not heat up, slightly warm.
