I needed low end power and torque. I use my motorized bike to get me deep into the woods where I can do my first love - metal detecting. The 44T sprocket did a fine job at what it was designed to do but it wasn't designed to meet my needs. This 56T sprocket does. I Started from a dead stop with no pedaling and up 30 degree incline with very minimal pedaling. The build quality was pretty darn good as well. I was expecting a flimsy hunk of metal but this sprocket is far from flimsy. Also it was only 28 dollars!
