First reaction: Nice smooth finish with no cracks or glass defects on either end. Installation: Our current peep hole was too small for this (I'm guessing the old ones were smaller) so we had to hammer it in, but I don't hold it against the product because I could have drilled a hole but decided not to . Performance: SUPER clear, perfect magnification on the outside. I can see most large packages, even if they're pushed right to the outside of the door, while still seeing ahead at least 20 feet from the door. So the view is just amazing and perfect. Unless someone scratches it on the outside, which I doubt, this thing will last for decades, not years. I highly recommend
