Review on 🔧 Permatex 80333 Muffler Tailpipe Putty, 4oz., 4 Ounce by Raymond Gray

I used this to repair two about 1" square holes in the end of the muffler exhaust pipe. Since the putty has the consistency of toothpaste when first applied, I found it necessary to cover the holes with 1/4" wire mesh to provide a base for the putty. After applying, I ran the engine for about 5 minutes to warm up the muffler. Other reviewers warned that some of the putty could be squeezed out, which happened. After I reapplied the putty and attached the rest of the bag to the patched areas, I let it dry overnight. I drove about 300 km/h Miles now and the patches seem to be holding up well.
