The sliders are very tight and difficult to fit but this is probably mainly due to user error and stubbornness. I decided to install the sliders while the window was still in the door rather than taking the window out to fix it. The regulator appears to be heavily used, but I attribute this to aging rather than new sliders. Installation tips: - Clean the rails very well - Lightly grease the top and bottom of the rails - Apply plenty of grease to the low points at the top and bottom of the slider - Make sure the sliders are relatively smooth-running - Make sure that there are no small children nearby because they will curse like a drunken sailor as you try to get the clips back on your slider. I definitely recommend these blue ones here, just take your time.
