This generator is described as new. No, that is not so. I installed it and found my car won't start. I couldn't figure out what was going on so I had to take it to the store. They found that the voltage regulator in the generator shorted out and the wire to the computer melted, almost causing the computer to short out. All of this for $650 including a new alternator. This shows me that these generators are very low quality and there is little to no quality control in production. And something else. Due to the amount of time my car has been in the shop, I am currently outside the return window.
