Review on Dorman 924-509 Spare Tire Hoist for Compatible Models by Bryan Orozco

This was the perfect replacement for my 2002 Bravada which broke due to corrosion. It's a different design that shouldn't be as corroded as a standard GM part. I recommend lowering the tire about once a year and protecting the cable with lithium spray grease. Installation was easy after I cut out the old one. You will likely need new standard U-nuts (not long) for the 3x1.5mm M-10 bolts that attach them to the frame. In my case I needed 2 new screws because I had to cut them. The standard screws have a captured washer and are not a hardware store item, so I replaced them with individual screws and washers.
