Review on HFP 380 Intank Replacement Fuel Strainer by Joshua Days

The OEM fuel pump died so I decided I would just use the pump as the fuel delivery unit was fine. Big mistake. This pump is LOUD. You can hear it even when the tank is full. (OEM whined for 1/8 tank and that's it). In addition, it loses its "prime" after each shutdown, requiring the key to be toggled on and off three times to regain idle. Made my remote start unusable. ASE mechanic, made hundreds of fuel pumps. never found it that bad. I've already ordered an OEM replacement and can't wait to get this thing out of my car. 2 stars because I think it "technically" pumps fuel.
