Review on Conté Paris Sketching Crayons Sanguine by Lori Aguirre
The size of a large match
Not a quality, I was shocked when I opened the box to find that they were almost were the size of a matchstick. They almost look like children's dollhouse props! There is no description of the actual size of the pencil on the website (just the dimensions of the box). I attached Prismacolor's nuPastel shots next to these Conte. I have since learned that there is no standard size for soft pastels. Each Prismacolor nuPastel should be 2.5 times the size of a Conte pencil.
