Used 4 wooden blocks 3" x 6" shoe Drilled and zipped to top of overload springs before purchase to prevent sagging on heavier picks and to avoid towing (worked great for a 12,000 mile round trip to Alaska!). I had to carry extra blocks with me in case I lost one. The rubber bumper creaked against the wood, giving the impression of defective leaf spring isolation washers. You'll still get a little flex, but that will get rid of 90% of it. Does NOT increase the car's load capacity, but helps it handle loads better. Further suitable material for additional support can be introduced via the long fastening screw. Make sure this does not affect the warranty. Easy installation on 99 F250 Super Duty with factory springs after removing the rubber bumpers. I also had to use the included anti-torsion inserts against the fender mounts to keep the fender from rotating under a constant load.
