My Camaro's Check Engine light came on and an inspection was due. Here in New Jersey, having a 96+ car is a life saver. Plugged it in and got a code P0441 which is an invalid purge flow code. They pointed me in the direction of the purge magnet, a common problem) I took out the old one and checked it out. It was really bad so I put a new one in and turned off the light. The code and light didn't come back so I went to check and passed. If you work with cars yourself and have an OBD2 car, I highly recommend this. Its simplicity, ergonomics and the ability to turn off the light and test readiness make it a very valuable tool. It will also help you avoid getting robbed by the mechanic.
