of their products. I have other Gearwrench tools and their workmanship is much better than this one. These pliers are exactly what you'd expect from a manufacturing facility that makes you sweat uncontrollably. ;) This set is overpriced - Revain's $57.69. The list price of $113.85 is ridiculous. The only thing that got me a second star is the improved ease of use of the compound joint and the longer length compared to other brands. The workmanship deserves zero stars. Check out my photos to get an idea of just how awful they usually are: off-center cuts, uneven diameters, twisted handles and heads, and an extremely rough finish if you want to call it "finished". They didn't bother to remove the burrs from the sharp edges, which I didn't include photos of as they don't show up well in photos, but they're certainly easy to see and feel. They didn't even take the time to wash the sand and dirt from the joints and jaws left over from the final stages of production. Very sorry. It took 2 sets to get reasonably centered jaws with an acceptable diameter. Both sets feature rolled knobs and heads and a rough finish. With twisted handles and heads, nothing works without ruining the pliers. Luckily, this rotation isn't that important for this particular tool to work. But I still need to spend some time with my Dremel and my needle files to remove burrs and smooth out sharp edges that can easily cut through leather and other things while working in a tight engine bay. shouldn't be doing this type of cleaning with $60 pliers. Update 8-1-21: I've used the 1/2" size a few times since my initial review and it has held up to aggressive pulling and twisting, so I think under normal circumstances they probably won't break. I also have needle files used to round off the sharp edges so they no longer pose a skin cutting hazard when maneuvering into tight spaces.
