It works. This is a set of 10 RP-SMA antennas. I bought them to use as wifi antennas. They are all functional - there are no visible defects and I manually checked that everything is working. The signal strength is very similar to the original mainboard antennas, however, the mainboard antennas have the advantage that they are placed at a more optimal viewing angle thanks to the cable and magnetic attachment. From my desk, that 1-foot difference translates to almost a 100Mbps advantage.
