For those who don't have strong hands and fingers, they are tough enough to push into the edges of the bumper or remove them. I'll have to use a hammer and maybe they'll break over time (I hope) or at higher temperatures. I was worried that even with staples, they could be easily stolen. Actually, you need a hammer to even attach the clips to the bumper, so it's not that easy to steal, at least not with the clip intact. But still, they're quite easy to steal without a clip if someone really needs them. I'm going to spray a small amount of anti-rust grease around where the metal teeth catch on the steel bumper because it's guaranteed to scratch the paint. The only manufacturing suggestion I have is to use very thinly coated stainless steel. Cable instead of what appears to be clear plastic tubing, similar to a thicker version of tubing. However, I'm sure it's better to use the original design to keep the cost down. Do-it-yourself upgrade if you want?
