Made of solid aluminium, no plastic. I almost turned it down because it doesn't have YouTube on it, why? It's amazing and so well done and thought out. Solo is glad he took it! It has a round depth gauge that tells you where to set the collar. Worked perfectly the first time it was used. I made a 14 x 14 wood base out of 2 1/2" plywood and attached it. It has 4 rubber feet, it's durable and doesn't move, and it has a storage compartment on its base. Some people might say it's an underdog compared to blue, I believe it should be the other way around! I'm not recreating it but someone has to to show off this amazing well made tool! Would buy it again anytime, especially for 69€.
