Moisture meters didn't work for me
I've been using triplet devices for many years, no problems. However, this device gave wildly different results most of the time on the same surface, or, more commonly, no results until it was cycled off and on multiple times. I put new batteries in and nothing changed. I scanned the walls very carefully but still wasn't consistent so I went back. Maybe just defective, but I didn't have time to deal with it, bought another brand locally
