My Go to Amp is the Best Home Theater Amplifier

This is definitely one of the best sounding preamps at this price point and very versatile. I combined it with Avalon, which is much more expensive. This lets low volume mics like the Shure SM7b shine dynamically, giving them plenty of gain without noise, and bands would benefit too, particularly from the variable impedance control. Preamp, very clean on condenser mics. The measurement is excellent. The output can be tube-like warmth with digital purity, depending on how you're driving the amp. For example, a variety of digital and analog outputs and adjustable timing up to 24-bit 192K. The EQ, gate/expander and compression features, when used correctly, can add some extra pizzazz to anything you plug into this little unit, if you use it sparingly. Note, I said sparingly, that with all of the above you can easily ruin the sound of your microphone or instrument, which may make the less-technical person think twice before purchasing this complicated piece of equipment. definitely for a pro.
