This thing works, works well, and requires no adapters or tools besides the ability to take one of the cables off your car battery. The "Adapter" type of installation is the high point of this thing. It also didn't scare away the Advance Auto guy who was telling me how he won't install batteries if anything about my terminals or cables is customized. This was so "Stock" looking that he didn't complain.I bought this because I had a voltage leak somewhere, and it helped me disconnect my battery during weeks away from my car, so the voltage leak wouldn't totally destroy / sulfate my battery by running it down to zero power.
